Void Sake Pottery Class - JUNE 18

Receive step-by-step instructions on how to use the pinching method to create a functional pinch pot mug. This class involves three parts: creating your mug shape, making and attaching handles, and decorating your piece. Workshop participants will make one mug that will be finished with glaze.

After your class, I will dry, bisque fire, glaze (with your color of choice), and glaze fire your mug. Glaze color options will be given on the day of the class. Once your piece is ready for pick-up, you'll be notified by email - typically in 2-3 weeks.

All materials are included. All ages are welcome to attend this event. 

Preparations for Your Class

• Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes before your class.
• Clay washes out of your clothes but wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting a little messy.
• Please trim your fingernails before class. Uncut nails will make the entire process of shaping your pieces difficult, if not impossible

**Due to the nature of clay, we like all participants to know that there is a chance a pot can have a problem during the bisque and glaze firings. If a piece does break, my policy is that you will be welcome to re-make your piece, free of charge.
